What is DPP?

TheDegree Partnership Program (DPP) is a program that OSU offers in which it is partnered with all Oregon Community Colleges with a few community colleges in Hawaii. Students in this program can be considered a student at OSU and the partner school of their choice. This comes along with many benefits, yet you want to find out how it all works for your particular situation!

Who

- - Prospective transfer and first year students can apply to OSU with the Degree Partnership Program through their admissions process.
  - Currently enrolled or newly admitted students can add the Degree Partnership Program for free.
  - The program is open to all undergraduate students pursuing their bachelor's degree.
  - Continuing international students (that are already admitted to OSU) may also participate in the DPP program but are required to work with their International Advisors to complete the appropriate forms prior to participation.
  - Post-baccalaureate students may also participate in the program but must first be admitted to OSU.
  - This is for Ecampus or campus-based students.

What

OSU has a partnership with all Oregon community colleges and three Hawaii colleges that allows students who are applying to OSU or who are already admitted, to apply as a Degree Partnership Program student. This status gives them the ability to:

1. 1. 1. 1. Take classes just at OSU, but with the option of taking courses at their community college anytime in their degree-seeking career. Having this option opens the door to saving some money on tuition, more class flexibility, etc.
      2. Take classes at just their community college, but having an active OSU student status which allows students who will be ultimately at OSU many benefits (access to an OSU advisor, MyDegrees to know what classes they need to take for their OSU major, the ability to complete ScholarDollars, etc.).
      3. They can take classes at both their community college and OSU and if they receive financial aid and follow the DPP financial aid rules, they can have credits from both campuses counted towards their OSU degree.

The admissions application for both a new-to-OSU transfer or first year students is a regular application with a DPP section where they select their partner school and give permission to share information between both schools. For current students adding DPP to their Admission status, they fill out a condensed version of the application with the DPP section only; this is free to the student as they have already been admitted to OSU. Please note, there are DPP application deadlines each term.
